Welcome to Woods Mill Rabbitry!
For as long as I can remember, I've always loved rabbits and have had several of them as pets as a little girl. It wasn't until 2010 that I even knew rabbit showing existed. This peaked my interest, and the rest is history. We've had great success with showing and breeding in the past and now hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
We are hobbyists, located just outside of Winchester, Virginia, who who used to breed Polish and now have decided to show Mini Rex, Rex and Netherland Dwarfs. With lots of animal knowledge, we hope that we can produce wonderful, healthy, high quality rabbits for you! We started with Californians, but with our expanding family and small children at the time, we decided to focus on polish only, however this go round we are all in with the Mini Rex and have a small Rex and Netherland Dwarf breeding program after my kids fell in love with both breeds. Both boys are active in their county Fair and FFA or 4H as well in addition to tackle football, dirt bikes, hunting and fishing!

After many ups and downs, making mistakes, learning and getting advice, we've come along way! We went on a hiatus for several years, needing to take a break for personal reasons, but we are back! Our goal is to send you home with a friendly, well adjusted rabbit. To ensure this, we handle our rabbits daily, starting with kits when they are just born. We also expose our rabbits to traveling as well as every day noises such as cars, dirt bikes, dogs, mowers, etc... so they are very much used to any possible noises and are not spooked easily. We will also have our nephews handle them as well so all of our bunnies are used to small children. We've found that rabbits bred on our property or purchased as babies have adjusted well to this technique.
